Confirmation of Orders
Please ensure all contact details, personal information, spelling of names, design requirements and collection details have been properly documented on your cake confirmation. Please notify us via email immediately of any errors.
Please be aware that all of our cakes are made in a kitchen that handles the following allergen ingredients, or products containing them: cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya and sulphur dioxide. As such, although every care is taken to avoid cross contamination, we cannot guarantee any cake to be completely “free from”.
Cancellations/Change of Dates
Any changes to your order, or cancellations, must be submitted to us via email.
Please note that we will be unable to provide a refund for orders that are cancelled within 14 days of your event.
If we have to cancel your order due to personal circumstances, you will be offered a full refund.

Please be aware that all photographs taken of your cakes prior to delivery remain property of The Little Yellow Patisserie.
Please understand if a picture/image is supplied, then in certain circumstances it may be necessary to change a colour or vary a product from the picture as certain cake decorating items may from time to time be unavailable.
Where items are provided on cakes (plastic figures, toys or handmade sugared items) they are strictly provided as decorations. Please note that some items contain wire or toothpicks and therefore it is advised that they are not consumed.
If there are any breakages or faults with items after they are removed from the cake, then, time permitting, these can be replaced at an agreed cost.
If there is an issue with your order, please refrigerate or freeze the cake immediately and return it to us on the next business day for consideration.
Since taste is a very personal matter and subjective we cannot accept the return of any products merely because you do not like the taste.
We have made every effort to ensure that the colours used in the images on our website are as close as possible to those of the actual product. However, the colour of the actual product you see on your screen will depend on your monitor, your screen settings and resolution. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on collection and we cannot accept the return of any product because it does not match the colour you were expecting from viewing your screen display.
We will have no liability to you for any indirect loss.
We will only make a refund to the original account used by you to make the purchase. Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.
We will not accept the return of any products which have been purchased from any outlet other than this site.
The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.
We may sometimes use inedible items when producing your cake, these may include but are not limited to, wires, dowels, cel pics or fresh flowers. These items must be removed from your cake before serving and we will provide you with the information to do so.
If you choose to use fresh flowers on your cake we take this as acknowledgment that, although we will take every care to prevent contamination from these, fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt or other contaminants.
